Full Day Glass Blowing in Aylesbury

Arts and Crafts Experience Days: Enjoy this fantastic 1 day course in the art of Glass Blowing.

You’ll be using state-of-the-art equipment under the instruction of a professional glass maker ensuring you progress quickly and produce your own pieces of beautiful glass.

Your glass making experience will begin at 10.

30am with a welcome to the studio by your professional glass making instructor.

After a short safety brief and introduction to the equipment you’ll be using, you’ll begin by learning to gather glass from the furnace, shaping and applying colour.

After a short break for lunch, you’ll start to put the skills you learnt in the morning session into practice as you make a piece (or multiple!).

You’ll also try your hand at the art of glass blowing and most people get to take home two or three pieces including a colourful bowl or vase or bowl that you can keep as a memento of your day.

Please note: Your pieces will be sent to you after the experience as it will need to be fired in the kiln for hardening at a cost of £20.
